I was wondering how long you play on a world before you decide to make a new one,how do you play on one world for so long, it just feels like it would get boring really fast so I was wondering, how long do you usually play on a world before you get bored with it.

Depends on the world
Usually I get bored mid-game but it picks up endgame where i have more materials to build with.

15 seconds. I can decide quickly if I hate the world. For example: Spawn in Swamp or cold biome, not bloody likely. Spawn near a village, quite likely, unless in swamp or cold biome.
Taint near spawn is a challenge I relish, assuming I am prepared to fight a losing battle.

well, seeing as I don't like dying, and as soon as I die I delete the world and start over... I rarely hit that point _[=]_O

I dont get bored but I change base often. I can walk 1000 blocks to find the right biome to be in. Most Im going after Magical Forest becuase Thaumcraft is one of my favorite mods. But on the way I collect things like saplings and other stuff I can need.

But not bored of a world becuase its the biome that should be importent. If you spawn in a swamp-biome then move out to other biome.

I sometimes do that aswell... I end up placing doing like 5 chests along the way filled with items because my inventory was full

I usually spend about 15 minutes to get an impression of a new world. Once I decided to play beyond those 15 minutes, I tend to stick to my worlds for a very long time, basically until mod compatibility issues force me to abandon it. I don't get bored easily. Not if there are dozens of mods I haven't explored to their full potential yet.

Based on recent experience, I'd say it takes me a couple of weeks (at a rate of about 25 hours played per week) of progressively less interest in doing the same damn things all over again. Even slight variations in, e.g. power system, don't make much difference since the end result tends to be about the same.

Exactly 3 months into my current world today, Happy Anniversary "ScottulusMaximus_1_6_4"!!!

I keep going until the next version I wanna play is fully modded and stable, usually wait until they're modding the next version before switching over

Normally only until my world corrupts.
Over the last year this has been as short as 90mins or as long as 6 months

Currently 1 Agrarian Skies world - 8 weeks.

Thankfully I've now got a local server and Aroma backup which should make things better.
I'm going to wait until 1.7 launches for a new full world. I'll just putter around hardcore challenge maps until then.
Maybe Crash Landings after I finish the last of the AgS challenges.

Until the amount of stuff in my base lags the game out to the point of unplayability.

Or until I decide I want to add some more mods to a pack that need a bunch of worldgen.

Yes... thats actually a good idea :)

and all them waypoints along the way...
whenever I set a spawn waypoint I also make a base waypoint that I relocate later, as I always want my spawn and base waypoint on top and it usually takes a while before I can go back and pick up all those chests

0 seconds. Seems recently I'm more interesting in tinkering with my mod setup and customising world gen, recipes, etc, then compared to actually playing :S

I often get bored with my worlds, but that doesn't mean I restart. I only restart and begin over again when a new FTB modpack comes out that excites me. I've played three modpacks total. Ultimate for a year, Direwolf for a few months, and then Monster for probably another year now? Or close?

Typically my play style is 24/7 when I begin a new world with a new modpack, because I'm excited. Then I taper off my hours of play as time goes on. I used to play Monster from the time I awoke to the time I fell asleep, but nowadays since there isn't much more for me to do in my world, I play FTB about once or twice a week. I'm not really the most creative of builders, that's not what drives me to play, I'm more of a tech type who likes to explore and learn new mods.

I stick to my world as long as it will stay stable or until a new modpack/MC version has something really really amazing that is MUCH better than what I got.

So far my Monster world have been active for 4+ months and I am still haven't even started on some things(and this is not due to inactivity :p).

Progress wise I am still building my main base up and I have several ideas forming about other things in other locations. Also have countless hours worth of detailing and decorating with microblocks, carpenter's blocks and what not.

Depends upon the modpack and the world. If the worldgen is terrible, I'll re-roll in a few minutes after exploring and going "meh".

On the other end of the spectrum, if it's a good modpack with legs and I take my time building a proper world and not rush mod content to the end, I can happily play the same world for months, which translates to several hundred hours of butt-time (~20 hours per week).

What makes me re-roll is when I *know* I can do a much better job building or else I reach the end of the interesting content. But, again, no rush to "the end" of the content. I take my time, try to follow strict building codes, and usually take the longest route/path possible to a given food/energy/resource level.

About as long as its stable. I have the constant itch to run bleeding edge versions and test every single feature. Combine that with my love for having the most complete experience, which involves a whole lot of config changing to merge packs like Monster/Horizons/TPPI together.

Not quickly. What I usually do is set myself several objectives to achieve, since my building skills are nil. Not easy objectives either.
