Hey,

we wanna switch to a root server. I thing we gonna rent one from http://getvisible.de/rootserver-mieten.php

I could add a SSD for +20 € or upgrade the CPU from 4x2,4 to 4x3,0

Do u think an SSD is important for a ftb ultimate server ?

Is it possible to host one world on a different Server ?

If you pre-render your main world/worlds there shouldn't be any noticeable difference, most of the IO overhead that causes HDD lag is from generating new chunks.

We just moved from a hosted server with SSD to a dedicated server without, as our main world was fully generated, we haven't noticed any lag at all since we changed over.
