you need to make a soul forge. and put diamonds in the top slot and corrupted essence in the bottom.
corrupted essence is made from vile dust(smelted soul sand) and glowstone dust.

Like this, End Stone on the outside, Netherrack in the middle, and Glowstone in the center then right click with a diamond.
Note that this is 1.5 version
