How do you get Ancient Spores on Starving Craft modpack?

Hello. I have recently been playing Starving Craft, and there is a quest for obtaining Ancient Spores, but the only way I know how to get them is by sieving, but that is disabled... Is there any way to get them? Thanks!

(By the way, I know this modpack is probably old, but it is still fun)

If you're looking for ancient spores to make mycelium, is there maybe another way to make it? I know Magical Crops added a recipe using nature essence, but you needed a mushroom for that, so it may be a non-starter.
