Someone on the FTB team recently posted and said that the 1.6 packs are still in beta, which is why they are updating so much and requiring users to use workarounds to avoid losing things. This is news to me because no where does it mention beta on the launcher for these 1.6 packs (other than Monster). I feel like when you release a pack, it should clearly be labeled as stable or beta. Releasing the packs under a 1.0.X version scheme just makes it more confusing, as it implies a stable release.
Can someone please point me in the direction where you can see whether or not a pack is considered beta or not? There seems to be no way to know other than when someone on the team posts "these packs are still considered beta".
