How do i make a FTB world?

Hello, I'm not very familiar with the new ftb launcher, and I have problems creating an account.
In the launcher it tells me to create an account, before I can launch. When i create an account, and I press launch, it's saying that my username or password is invalid. How do i fix this problem/make a valid account?

ps. I have a normal minecraft account.

Are you using the email and password for your Minecraft account to log into the FTB launcher (ie, the same info you use to log into the normal Minecraft launcher)? Because that's what you should be doing.
