I'm trying to install FTB Infinity, but I don't want to use the FTB launcher at all. I've supposedly downloaded the modpack from the site, but it doesn't seem to contain any of the mods it says it contains. I've manually installed forge and whatever mods came with what I downloaded, but Minecraft won't start because it says it's missing IC2.

Additionally, there are a bunch of "scripts" in the modpack folder that I'm not sure how to run.

How do I download the full modpack and install it (including running these scripts) without going through the launcher? I just want to install the pack manually and launch Minecraft through the regular launcher.

Thank you.

If you don't want to download & install each mod individually, then I think you'd have to use the launcher to download the pack, then copy the mod & config folders over to the instance on the vanilla launcher.

Well, I managed to download all the mods without the launcher, but I'm not sure how to resolve these scripts. They seem to mostly add or remove recipes for things (I'm guessing to handle conflicts between mods) I'm not really sure how to run these.

If those are the recipe tweaks for expert mode, just put the folder in your instance wherever it was in the pack download and one of the mods should handle it when you create a world in expert mode.

Ah, so one of the mods handles those scripts? Perfect, then. Thanks a bunch!

Even if FTB is reputable, I'm always hesitant to put my login information for one service into any other service. I'm glad I've found a solution.
