Problem How do I get these things working?

Okay, I'm searching and searching and searching and I found nothing.

Here's my Problem: I have a server running (zap-hosting) and I really want to use some plugins (e.g. essentials-like) at least the Timber! Mod (jeeez, these Firtrees are huge). Currently I'm running on FTBBETAA, so is it possible to add the features to this version or is it recommended to upgrade to Mindcrack 1.4.6, because it's only possible on the newest version?

I already tried to put the Timber! Mod in the mod folder via FTP but the Server won't start.

Any suggestions?

What version of minecraft is the server running? 1.2.5? then you need the 1.2.5 version of timber! mod.

Currently it's 1.4.2, but, as I said, I already uploaded a 1.4.2 Version and the server won't start. I think it's the Hoster.. But thanks anyways.

Could be the hoster or the mod aint forge compatible, i can check the server logs to see whats the error if you upload it, we might know more then 9only if you want that is)
