How can I install more mods to FTB pack A server?

Hello! Rather new to modifying and installing mods to minecraft, and am having issues trying to figure out how to install a couple more mods atop the beta pack A for the server client. The mods themselves are Thaumcraft 3 and Balkons Weapon mod. Any help on how to install these server side would be great! Thanks!

In theory all you need to do is drop the mod in the ftbbetaa\mods folder but in practice it's never quite that easy. After you put the mods in that folder and start the server take particular attention to the server console, you are looking for ID conflicts. If you find any then you need to adjust the config files for those mods so the IDs do not conflict with any other mod.

Also all your players will need the mods too in their FTB installation.

If you put in the server mods and have problems, post the logs to pastebin and I'll have a look for you.
