How can I dispense Liquid Essence into the world in Unleashed?

I think unleashed has both. Never got into it though.

Urgh, that sucks. Can't believe there isn't a single thing to dump some fluid out on the floor.
 
I don't know of anything in Unleashed (A 1.5 pack) that can place things other then turtles and that one item from thaumic tinker that could place blocks.
 
One of the many joys of using such an out-dated modpack -- all the solutions were added in the 1.6.x mod updates (like the Buildcraft floodgates), or you could go back even further to the 1.4.x packs to get the RedPower grates...
 
If you are using a turtle, I believe the command is:
turtle.place()

And have a bucket in its inventory... but I don't use turtles often :P
 
I'm pretty sure I could get it to work, but I'm just not good enough with programming them. Would a turtle place a the contents of the bucket if it already had a source block in front of it?

I'm not sure what you mean...
If you mean you have something like this
TB
FF
T- Turtle, B-Block, F-Floor
I don't think it'd place, if there was a space, then I think it would... Don't quote me on this, I don't use CC enough :P
 
So if I type "turtle.place()" I get false.
If I type "turtle.place" I get "function: a1428f0"
 
did you do:

turtle.do
turtle.place()
end

?
I think that is how the code works... you may have to look on the CC forums :/
 
I'm on the lua command prompt thing, not making a program. I got it to rotate to the right, but won't place anything.
 
Right now I'm trying to place a block of wood... I'll get onto the buckets when I've figured that out.
 
So I'm pretty sure there's some issue with turtles on this server. Can't for the life of me place a block. And a few weeks ago couldn't get a melee turtle to attack. Can anyone think of a reason for this?
