I love the way raw dough smells. It makes me want a beer because I am weak and suggestible.

All this talk of beer, bread and butter reminds me of a time I was in France where I was exercising my poor French. Asking for beer I said "Je voudrais un beurre" and later I asked something like "peux j'avoir le pain por favor". Perhaps I had had too much "beurre".
[/random jaunt down memory lane]

I was really proud of some Blood magic automation I did the other week with Steve's Factory Manager and Computer craft. The SFM protocol can craft most of the common altar crafting jobs, including all of the slates and filled sockets. The current crafting job was selected via CC touchscreen (you could also enable feathered knife and regen rituals with the touch screen and manage the flow of blood between the altar and a buffer tank). It is the most novel and advanced automation I have done in a while.
Pics, pl0x! :D

I did make a thread for it that Padfoote kindly linked (thanks @Padfoote )

I updated the setup a bit since then and I forgot to update the thread. Here are a couple of other pictures though

Here is the UI for the CC touchscreen program. Only one crafting recipe be active at a time (to stop, for example, blank slates becoming reinforced slates when you don't want them too,) but the other options can be toggled independently.

The other thread has details about how it all works if you are interested.

Seriously, the most automated contraptions I did so far are either done the easy way with MFR, AE, LP, or shamelessly copied from Direwolf20, like the Alumentum factory. Even the Programmable Rednet Controller which controls my Big Reactor is quite simple. Time to build something awesome!

Highly automated systems tend to bee FPS-munchers. So, answer to OP question is: "depends on your server CPU".

Beer can taste better breaded. Beer battered fries (use cheap beer) with garlic powder and Old Bay. All other fries will look weak in comparison.

If only I could automate that IRL. Closest I've come is having another player craft them for me.

Um
Funner is not a word xD
Also it is automated, not "auto-mated" there is no need for a dash.
Great topic! :) Really liked the concept; But, isn't "auto-mated" supposed to be "automated"?
Sorry, my inner grammar nazi was shouting at me.
Or we could all be mistaking and this thread was actually about something COMPLETELY else :p
