okay, i use cubedhost and it has an ftp management for my files.

i set up the server like it said in another ftp setup thread, but when set my server command to vanilla and change the name of the ftb jar to "minecraft_server.jar" it works only for that but when i go to play it says the server version is 1.4.4 and the current launcher is 1.4.2

please help if possible!

ive tried installing using multimc but cant seem to get it.

the server wont even start. says the jar is corrupt. ive tried several times with no hope ):

The problem is that the jar file is not properly installed, he needs a fresh jar and he needs to install mcforge.

Multimc? Multimc does obviously only work on the client. All you need to do is to drag mcforge into your minecraft_server.jar.

i got a freash and clean server jar and dragged the mcforge files over(i dragged all of them that were in the .zip.) and the server is stuck and wont start. i can only stop it.

what now?

Can you get a log?
What version of forge did you use?

i used the mcforge that is stable with 1.4.2 im pretty sure that correct. and thats the only log i can get. doesnt look very helpful though
