Horizon's pack - Can only eat in Nether

I've having an odd issue on my server. 3 people currently play and I'm the only one with the issue. Starting around a week ago I can only eat in the nether. I get the animation like I'm eating but food doesn't get consumed in any location in the overworld. I've restarted the server, client, tried different foods, etc. Nothing seems to help. I run over and port to the nether and eat just fine.

I thought perhaps it was a mod but nobody else is having this issue. I even tried to think of ways that perhaps I could just "cheat" in an ability to remove hunger for just around my base with no luck. It's just painful for me to be mining and after 200-300 blocks I'm starving and have to frantically run back for the Nether and hope no mobs blow on me too hard and I keeeeeeeeeel over dead.

I've searched forums and all over the web and it appears I'm unique or horrible at searching...

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I don't have the slightest idea what might be causing it, but:

Have you tested other dimensions as well?

Have you tried running like 1000 blocks away from where you usually hang out (while remaining in the overworld) and attempting to eat there?

Have you had access to creative at any stage?

No, just Nether.

It depends, a few days ago that worked fine, but then yesterday no. I'm not sure if it was the same location or not. I just can't determine if there is some type of mod or biome, or........... that is causing this. Can't seem to locate any information online.

And yes I used creative to cheat in some witchery stuff to see if that would help with this.

It depends, a few days ago that worked fine, but then yesterday no.

So you're saying that first you couldn't eat "around base" (a week ago), then later you couldn't eat on the overworld at all (a few days ago)?

This is sounding more and more like something to do with PermissionsEx. It's also sounding more and more like something an admin has intentionally done to you, though you may've just been dropped into an odd group by accident.

Yes, it's very odd. I do not think it's a permissions or an admin type issue because I'm the host of the server.

The only consistent place I can eat is the Nether.

What actually happens when you try to eat?

Can you eat those berries from whatever mod it is that adds them?

I'll get the animation like I'm eating but that's it. It's almost the same as if you are super laggy.

I've cheating in all types of food no luck. So frustrating.

Ok, figured it out...

Somehow I had my playername.dat file in my server\world\data folder. Removed that, rebooted server and life is good.

No idea how that would have occurred though as I never touch those files.
