Horizons - disabled ores: Limestone, Emery

After a couple of weeks on a Horizons server we noticed that there's no Limestone or Emery Ores from Emasher's Resource for Engineering Toolbox mod being generated. Configs for both these are set to false. They are needed in various recipes and was wondering why were they disabled? and is it safe to enable them?
 
Yes, they are safe to enable. Limestone is just a type of stone, and emery is a gem style ore(like lapis, redstone, or emerald/diamond).

Limestone can be swapped with other kinds with some crazy tricks, but it's hard without Chisel.

Last I tried it (in TPPI, I think?), Chisel wasn't helping very much. It only liked its own kind of limestone. Some kind of unifier might do it, but I'm not familiar enough with Horizons to know if there are any.
 
Last I checked(which was a while ago I admit), one could change it from various mod kinds, but one had to go to the end of it's list to find them. IIRC I had changed the configs in my game a bit, but IIRC the version was an official AUTOMATIC_MAIDEN build of the mod.

It might not be possible anymore. But it's a moot point, anyway, if there's no Chisel in Horizons.
