Horizons crashes back to launcher immediatly

Details of the issue:
I have downloaded the mod through the the launcher and attempted to load it. The launcher window disappears, the console shows output and then it disappears and the launcher comes back. The game never loads. I'm using Java 1.7.0 u79 and have the modpack set to use the 64-bit version.​

On the launcher go to options then click the force update button, then launch the modpack.
