Horizons 3 fails to complete server start

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

The server crashes at the same point every time. I have downloaded it three times to check, no luck.

Can you also pastebin the crash report from C:\ftb\Server\.\crash-reports\crash-2018-01-30_13.26.10-server.tx? That should have some more detail.

So the issue is /dank/null. There are a couple options to fix it. I'm not sure which will be best. First make a backup copy of your world before you do anything. Then try the options below.
  • First option is to update /dank/null. The current version is 1.3.30. You are running 1.3.23.
  • If that doesn't work my next suggestion (and this is destructive) is to remove /dank/null and start the server. Confirm the changes for removing the items for /dank/null. If you want you can add it back in. But I would test everything first and make sure you can log in and the world is good other than the missing items from /dank/null.
  • If that fails, I hope you have a backup from before the world crashed that you can restore.

Can confirm, works if you manually update the version of Dank/null; some friends and I have been using Horizons III for the past couple of weeks with that. This is with the 1.6.0 version; I don’t know what changes are in 1.7.0 because they haven’t provided a changelog, helpfully...
