Well keep in mind that the machines expansion of it was just recently released, whereas RailCraft has been out for much much longer. But you raise a very valid point

:P I wasn't being entirely serious either :) although... actually yeah I was.. serious in a light hearted way.
Xychorium bricks are the shit! But I'd agree about the other decorative blocks, not too fussy bout those..
