Hi people. I need help from you guys. I am new to the server creating and am having trouble.

I am trying to set up a small server for my few friends to join. I am planing on using the monster pack with some extra mods thrown in as well. My friend doesn't have the original minecraft.
What is the best thing to do and how to do it. I really need your help, it will be much appreciated.

This is a pretty late reply. Wondering if you're still having problems. Can you clarify what "My friend doesn't have the original minecraft" means?

Set online mode to false and there will be no problem

By my understanding of "He doesn't have the original minecraft" means he doesn't have the vanilla version so he will need to buy it and download it from minecraft.net.
