Hi FTB not working

My friends FTB isn't working when they try to launch the game it says Update available so we click yes then it says Error downloading the game. There java is up to date and we did try deleting everything and reinstalling it too. So if you have a fix then plz help thanks.

More of a silly work-around rather than an actual solution:
Have you tried downloading the new update from another computer then copying the files across directly? Of course, your friend's problem still won't have been solved, but at least if it works they will be able to play.

Please have your friend follow this guide carefully and exactly. Then if they are still having problems have them click on the 'Paste my log to pastebin.com' button on the console. This will add a link at the bottom of the console. Please have them post the link here themselves. It will be easier to work with them directly than have a middle man, no offense.
