I'm having a problem with my Feed the Beast SSP.
When I start to play it my game freezes then I am redirected to a screen that says Minecraft needs more memory but I don't know how to add more memory.
Could anyone help me?

I'm not certain if this will work but 1. Open notepad 2. Copy and paste this exactly
java -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -jar FTB_Launcher.jar nogui.
3. Save it onto your desktop as Start.bat
4. Run it
Hope this helps.

I kinda thought that would be a given, unless it's a pre-built. Some douche bag shops will try to pull that kind of thing if you don't know any better. Anyone who built thier own PC we should assume they know what the hell they are doing, right? :S

'This' isn't very descriptive... I shall assume you mean everything then :p Right click on My Computer and go to properties, from there check your Installed memory (RAM): and System type:

I don't have 64 bit java
And how do I check my memory, hence my name, I'm new at this

Okay purplefantum, I think we can assume that he did not build his computer.

You can check your memory (assuming you have Windows 7/8) by clicking on Computer in the start menu, then in the info panel and the bottom it should say Memory: xxxGB

Edit: Ninja'd
