Help with updating

Hello guys, im new to the forums, but I have been playing FTB for a few months. When the new update came out for the launcher, the window popped up asking me if i wanted to update, and I said yes- nothing happened and then FTB suddenly closed. I opened it up again and the same message appeared. This has happened alot so I decided that I'd ask you guys.

To update the launcher it needs to close itself. It should open after it updates in less than a minute depending on your internet speed. If you open it again before it has a chance to update you will get the message again. Give it a while and if it does not open again let us know.

I tried that but it still does the same thing, I left it for like 20 minutes

You can always just download it from the website and use that one, as they host the latest version for download.
