Hello all,

I have a small 20 slot server (no more than 5 people are ever online at once) that i am trying to reduce the lag on. The lag is really bad when exploring a new area or when using mystcraft. I have read other threads that I need to change some of my server options but I dont quite understand what I should put. Here is my lshw -class cpu -class memory -sanitize

Code:

I'm just trying to improve the experence that everyone has on the server.

You're getting lag when you generate new areas and open Mystcraft portals because the world is generating, which is hard on your processor and RAM, and often requires a high end computer to make perfectly lag-free. You could probably also use a RAM upgrade (8GB of RAM goes for around 50 bucks) and maybe even upgrade your processor (more pricey, looking at $200+) if you can afford it.
