Somewhere over the rainbow.
I have a serious problem, tried 10 different spots for the Nexus yet all next to the Altar and there's no linking possible, no white beam, nothing happens when I right click on my Neutral Nexus center with the Crystal Wrench, even if I put the liquid under it I see it consume it so I know the Nexus is working, but I can't link it to my Altar, no matter how much I try, I'm in the middle of my first spell recipe and I'm stuck there because it needs essence but I can't link them, help ???

I've followed 3 different tutorials from youtube and nothing works...

Did you right click the shiny thingy on the roof of your altar after you right clicked your Nexus Center with your wrench?

Somewhere over the rainbow.
Seems like I'm not alone with this problem after searching more about this issue, if anyone got any clue about it, I would love to go further in this mod but if its broken, I won't be able to do anything with it ???

Occasionally I have the same problem. With a combination of maniac right clicking and flipping the lever, it usually resolves after a half dozen tries.

Somewhere over the rainbow.
I restarted the game and now I see a white beam and the link seems to be fine, but still, the thing require essence but doesn't seem to have enough after 4 buckets and my recipe ask for 500 essence

I think it's less of 'noob with the magic thing' as much as 'not quite as obvious as the mod maker intended'.

Seriously..how many mods would you be able to understand if you went into it cold, with no input, no youtube, no NEI, and no forums full of awesome people (HI awesome people!) to help out. :)

For that matter, minecraft itself can be ... interesting...without a wiki to refer to. I am unaccountably glad, every day, that someone has taken the time to compile some of the most amazing tools (wiki, threads, forums, and NEI itself) to make this actually a playable environment. But yeah, sometimes you just don't think about flipping the lever.
