Help with a server

Hey guys,

Me and a few friends have been trying to set up a server for the new, currently private modpack - HatPack. I have never set up a server on minecraft before and have been reading up on it, I can port forward but there are no server files on the FTB website for the Pack. Basically what I need is for someone to explain the process of how I would set up a server for a private pack in the most noob friendly way possible as I cant seem to figure it out myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you have the pack selected and click the download server button nothing starts to download?

The button is grayed out. The server files are not available yet so I need to do it manually.
 
Download a server pack for the same version of minecraft your pack uses. Delete the config/mods folders and replace them with the ones from your pack. Now delete any client side only mod, things like inventory tweaks, minimaps, optifine, etc. Run the bat/sh and there you go.
