Help using FTB Unhinged & Yogscraft

Hi there

Big fan of Tekkit and now FTB and have been playing FTB Unleashed happily and successfully for months.

I have decided I'd like a change and have tried to play both Unhinged and Yogscraft but they both appear to be launching a vanilla launcher (despite the logo on the taskbar changing to the relevant alternative.

I'm running this on a gaming PC so system issues. Am running Windows 7. I'm using the same FTB launcher as I did for Unleashed. Any clues as to what's going wrong?
