sorry to tell you but I don't think you're capable of running an FTB server considering you only have Leopard (from what I've been able to find out at least). Are you able to get Minecraft itself to open on that computer? And can you run FTB? I have a mac with 10.6, and I can't even get FTB to open on that.

This is the video that helped me get mine going.

Also, make sure your file the serverstart.bat is accessing is actually named what you've told it it's named. What I mean, is that it's saying it cannot access "ftbserver.jar". That means you've typed into the serverstart.bat that you want it to access that file name from the folder. If that's NOT what the file is named exactly (to the letter), then it won't work.

Okay what you need to do is open up the launcher, choose the modpack and version you want to use, then click the "Download Server" button. Once you know that it seems fairly obvious, but I had this problem for a while too.
The two should then be the exact same, and if you set up the server properly you won't have any compatibility issues.
If you want to enable/disable/add certain mods, then you need to do it manually in the server files.

Eh. That means exactly what it says. The port set in your server.properties file is probably the same as something else already in use on your computer. Or, it could be the mac os firewall or some 3rd party net security app. If you are running on a home network you probably can just turn the firewall off.

Oh. . .

You could accidentally have another instance of the same mine craft server running. That would probably do it too.
