Single player / multi player it doesn't matter. OS/X is a non-starter with MindCrack v8.0.1. I posted several pastebin's in this other thread on OS/X in this thread

http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/thr...ava-lang-outofmemoryerror-permgen-space.9352/

In the end I fired up a virtual machine on OS/X using VMware Fusion running Xubuntu and Oracle JDK 1.7 and had not a single crash in 4 hours. On OS/X the longest I could play was 30-45 seconds.

Are there mods that i can remove instead of installing those programs?
Or something that i can do in the FTB luncher?

I tried B5, B6 and C1 of Optifine and without. Tried JVM settings-XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled -XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled which added about 30 seconds until the client crashed. Tried changing jwlgl. The issue ended up the same wit outofmemory-permgen-space. I suspect minecraftforge but have not tried updating that yet. My suspicion is based on compatibility issues documented between Optifine and forge mod loader.

I seriously doubt there is a quick fix for this. Updating FML would be my last shot at trying to get v8 to work on OS/X. May try it tonight.
