Someone plz help! I'm so frustrated with ME crafting. It suddenly stopped crafting anything. I made sure I have power, chunks are loaded, patterns are in place, replaced the ME controller and a few other blocks to reset the network, but to no avail. I can't even craft a single stick anymore. In crafting monitor it shows that it's trying to craft a stick but nothing in the other 2 windows. I tried removing some of the patterns from my system to see if it helps and it did! but idk what the problem is, can the ME system only support a limited number of patterns? but I'm nowhere near finished! I have only maybe 4 full pages of patterns...T.T

Oh you mean move from ultimate altogether. Well I like frames that's why I started ultimate. Do you have any suggestions for something similar to Ultimate in terms of technical mods? Hopefully something with a newer version of AE -.-

Ultimate is one of the older version modpacks. The current equivalent is Monster.
Anyways, check your patterns. It might have something stuck in a loop. I've had issues with this with multi-compressed cobblestone. ( Basically, it wants an end item, so it keeps crafting down an item, then crafts it up, etc. )
You could check out Test Pack Please Ignore. It's modeled after Ultimate and is 1.6.4. Pack code is MegaSharkPunch.
nope engineer's toolbox have something even closer to frames as far as I know.
if your a confortable still in ultimate, I'd rather wait the 1.7 mod pack. You don't seem to start games so often so it might worth waiting..
There was an annoying but in AE if I remember... The way i was solving it most of the time was to craft what was missing manualy. It COULD solve your problem for a while

Thanks for all the suggestions people. I tried going to Monster, lag was a disaster. My system can't handle newer versions it seems =( I should've guessed sooner though, seeing as most of my effort in Ultimate was to make a lag free system and I'd still get a lot of lag especially when the ME network runs out of power. Such a shame, I put so much effort into it and built a very nice base, but this is a game killer for me. I'm not even half way through Gregtech recipes :/
And yea I removed the pattern, replaced it with a new one, did it a bunch more times, broke part of system, etc. nothing works. Oh well...

I find that my system likes to jam up for no apparent reason when making processors.
I have the full 4k disk recipe automated - if I tell AE to make 3-4 disks is fine. Any more, it just shoves processors in the furnace, and just waits, even if the processor is done.
The only way to "reset" it as you said, is pull patterns out and back in. Haven't found the reason why it happens yet. Running the DW20 pack for 1.6.4.

So I have an industrial electrolyzer which I pump in empty cells through its bottom face with an export bus set to "craft only", mistakenly. What happened was that at one point I used those cells until there was 62 in the electrolyzer, and since the recipe for cells gives you 4 instead of 1 or 2, it got stuck on that pattern. I would've known the issue if it showed the crafting task in the crafting monitor, but oh well.
