Help for a futuristic building design ( Aesthetics Help )

Personally, for a futuristic look, nothing beats construction foam. I have Redpower lamps everywhere with white and gray construction foam covering all walls, floor, and ceiling, with silver microblock accents here and there, I think it looks about as clean as it gets.
A touch of Xycraft Engineering Bricks does wonders for futuristic builds. They're the only XyCraft block which I like the look of, really.
But I do also suggest you use GT blocks. They don't look as TRON like(which is why I like the Xycraft Engineering Bricks), but done properly you can make a really nice build.

I do like those engineering blocks.
I would love to see that same Hex pattern but in maybe a few other colors combinations.
Not that bumps are always bad, but waiting less than an hour to do so might be a tad on the impatient side... 
What exactly are you asking in your last question? The only connection I can seem to make between beams of cyan lamps and CC computers is that maybe you want to use a computer to turn the lamps on and off...? That's very doable, and I'd be happy to try and help you with some simple code (I'm not good enough for anything more than that) if you'd like.
On the other hand, if you were asking something completely different please elaborate...

In my mod selection, "Does it have awesome blocks to build with?" is super high on the list.
Ah. I'd say almost anything that has been suggested would go well with cyan lamps. Probably the lighter colored ones more than the dark ones. I can't say I have any additional suggestions based on that though...

I'm so-so on the blue engineering brick, but the rest looks fantastic!

Not really a fan of the massive amount of Engineering bricks(sorry! They are better when uses sparingly), but the cyan lamps have given me a idea...
Basically just cascading lights. Hopefully it looks good. I'll be using them in my Launch Room. It'll be a multipurpose room, for launching missiles, space ships, and me(with my Power Armor on).
