Help fixing a corrupt world?

I equipped an Ender Backpack, and when I tried to open it (B), my game crashed and corrupted. This is 100% reproducible for me.

I'm hoping you guys can help me restore it. Here's the error message it's giving when I try to see the saved games (click the Singleplayer menu):

I forgot to mention that's the error it gives when I try to start back up again - it doesn't give an error when it crashes.

Try removing the backpack from your inventory using mcedit. This maybe a modpack bug. If it is I would post in that section.

What modpack are you playing? I will try and see if I can get it to crash.

Monster 1.0.5.

Simply obtain an ender backpack, place it on the ground, equip it by shift+breaking it, and then open it with the B key. I see the inventory screen for a brief moment and then I crash to desktop.

Edit: Interesting. I reproduced this crash on another computer, but it doesn't corrupt my world. On my main computer, though, it corrupts 100% of the time.

I assume you mean by ender backpack that you mean the ender pouch. If so i am not sure what you mean by shift + breaking it.

No. I mean Ender Backpack, from BetterStorage.

Yeah it crashes with me as well but I can stil load up the world. I see that you posted in the modpack bugs thread. You will be able to get a log if you tick "reopen launcher after exiting minecraft" this will cause the launcher to reopen after the crash.

Edit the post you made and change your log to reflect this.
