Help copying player data

I'm currently using Horizons 1.0.13 and i'm having trouble moving my player info from a server i was playing on to my single player world. I used mcedit to copy my home but when i try to copy my player info in the (world name)/players folder it reverts back to my previous data from when i popped in to check what the world was like before i copied my base there. Even if i just delete my player data from my world when i log back in i'm back where i previously was with the few seeds i picked up getting there. Somehow it's keeping a copy of my player data somewhere and bringing it back whenever i load that game.

Isn't a copy of the player inventory kept somewhere in level.dat?

shoot...if that's true, anyone know how to get around it or get rid of it?

Only thing I can think of is just copying the server world to your ssp. The whole world.

I managed to solve it, there was a subsection when i opened the world data file with nbt with player data, just copied all my info from the player file i wanted.
