Help Cheat menu no longer works!

Hey guys I am running direwolf 1.0.25 and my cheat menue no longer works at all. Currently I am re downloading ftb to see if this will fix it.
Now what I mean is if I make a new world on survival ok press "E" goto options on lower left hand take off recipe mode put it to cheat it should no matter what bing up a cheat menu on the left side once I can see the NEI again.
Well let me tell ya that is not happening.
I have no clue what happened I tried to push buttons 2 times a button ya know one time to see if something happens and second time incase something happens to turn it off if the wrong thing.
So ya I am kinda at a loss. Also please do not say to me press "O" has nothing to do with what is going on.

Btw this did work at one time today on me and a friends server so idk why it is not working on single player anymore.

Edit... re downloading it did not fix a damn thing ugh! I can not tell you how many times this has working for me and now is not working at all. Please someone explain what is wrong and where.

Make sure you turn the "w" on or off to the left of the option. I forget which way it needs to be.

It may be locked in the config files, try looking there to see if it is.

I've had this problem in both DW20 and Monster. Simply changing the global settings (which is what you see if you call up the options) won't enable anything. Apparently there is some problem in the interaction between global and world inventory settings. When I switch from the global to the world settings and set the inventory mode to "cheat mode" there, then I correctly get the cheat options.

I would like the world inventory setting to be automatically adjust if I change the global settings, but it's not a big thing since I rarely feel the need to cheat.

The "w" did not work sigh when I am on cheat in a normal survival Sp world it will not pull my left menu at all. Grr I do this usually to find stuff to build then once I get all the parts I go back look at recipes to earn how it was made to make on our hard server me and a friend have. Any idea what config that might be located under? Maybe I am just going nuts but I am positive this is how it was on the recommended build. Someone else try what I am explaining to see if it is not just me please
edit.. again the reason I use it this way is so i can have cheat on while using the NEI not the stupid creative. Creative sucks compared to the NEI IMO what do you mean global settings? Is there something I am missing?

I am not at home so I can't tell you the name of the config, but there is a cheat lock option in the main NEI config file. It should be easy to locate. Possibly that flag was set in the recent modpack update. Or did things work for you in the same version before?

Might I add it will not let me op myself either sigh That would probably fix it. I tried it multiple ways. /Op ProDminer and /op ProDminer those usually work maybe the game is broke rigt now?

I'm pretty sure -1 is the one that doesn't lock. And it's already set.

@idjmleader, perhaps you could check the NEI global/world toggle again, and see if the world settings are overriding the global settings at all? If they are, the [W] to the left of the world-specific setting will be lit up. Right-click it to disable the override and use the global setting instead.

Thank you to everyone who replied! @Narc that fixed it simple and easy fix with the World overriding it makes everything cheating but when disabled it makes recipe back to normal. SO this is pretty cool at least we all figured it out And I have to try something with a spoiler I am curious haha
