[Help] Animal farm nearly crash server

Hi,

I did something stupid and o not knwo how to fix it.

I setup a animal farm but to clone some animals i just put a Breeder and no grinder... now Server laggs horrible since I have to many animals out... How can I kill them or make them disapear? I can´t move nearly.

Any ideas? Is there some admin command to kill/disapear al animals for a while?

MCEdit can delete entities within a region. And if it can't recognize the animals that you're breeding, then it can delete the entire chunk and regenerate it (without modded ores, unfortunately). Tell your admin to backup the world before using MCEdit though, since the older versions have a tendency to turn all the modded blocks into vanilla blocks with corrupted data.

There's not much you can do in-game to fix it. You can try turning down your sound, turning off everything, and trying to pour lava in the animal pen.

I'd go into creative.
Get some damage splash potions.
Go UP UP UP above the farm so I can't render the animals and slow down. Start droping potions and nuke em from orbit. Worked in Aliens.

If you can at least play the game, even with very, very low lag, just destroy the breeder/source of power and start killing all the animals.

on a serious note, if you could get the Sword of the Zepher or whatever it is, it has a wide attack range so you can hit 9 animals at a time. But i would recommend Fuzzlewhumper's option more.

there are other ways for instant remote splash damage, nukes and holy hand grenades comes to mind

you can try to use grinder/slaughterhouse.... or you can be a bit more radical about it and just use some explosives...

You can hit more than 9, you can hit any in a small cone in front of you. It's a great sword for finishing off crap loads of mobs in a damage/drop mob trap.

just delete the chunk and let the server recreate the chunks (which it will when it sees that it's not there)

Find out the radius of a nuke.

If it's more than loading entity chunk range, you're set.

Just use Essentials entities clearing and do the command for clearing out mobs. To do so estimate how far your away from the farm then just do the command and put the range. Better to put a larger radius than a small one.

Build an RP2 tunnel bore w/ grinders on it, line it up with the offending feed station and animals, let 'er rip?

Sorry forgot to answer here. Solved it after 5 hours of hard work with 1 Frame per 10 secs or something....

Changed gamemode to greative, picked the breeder and put lava buckets in the area with animals.

Never saw 500 sheeps burning at the same time. And finaly got paied for all the work with a big LOL!
