Problem Having some weired "lag" issues.

Hello there! Thank you for clicking here, I need help by someone that's a litte more technical than me.

Anyway, I've created a small private server of the FTB Hubris modpack, for me and a great friend to play on. The first day it was up, we had no connection issues. Then the next day I restarted my computer, whenever I log on the server myself, my friend, Wolfiez_ started to get some stuttering and sometimes not being able to play because of lag. She says whenever I log off, everything is perfectley fine.

I can't tell if I changed any internet-related configuration. I probabley changed something somehow, although this problem is extremeley frustrating for me, and I'd like to put an end of it soon, so me and Wolfiez_ can play on my server probabley.

The server is hosted on my pesonal computer, with 8 gigabyte of RAM allocated and even running a Core i7 processor.

I appriciate all the support I get and feel free to ask me questions. I'll answer them whenever I can!

How much RAM do you have in your computer and how much have you allocated to your client?

My computer got a total of 12 GB ram installed. My client uses about 2 gigabyte and 8 is allocated to the server. However I rareley get the "Can't keep up" messages.

2 GB is enough. Clients should have a maximum amount of 4 GB but since the server does no rendering, then it needs less. Java behaves badly with more ram then it needs

Okay, thank you! I'll lower the RAM and see if it has any effect. I'll update this with further detals whenever I get them.
