Having Problems with Bats

Hello my fellow beast feeders,

I have an underground base in FTB Monster with massive rooms, the only problem with it is that there are so many bats you can't even walk around without lag. The game has glitched out or something because there are well over 75 bats in my base and I want to know if there is a way to stop them spawning or kill them as soon as they spawn without the use of MFFS.

Bats only spawn in low light levels so i'd suggest lighting the place up with arcane lamps or something like that.

I have. I've checked every spawnable place and everything is 8+

Besides "restart your client to stop the glitching" I can't think of anything that might help, sorry.

I have also done that multiple times also. Think it may be a config file but I can't see anything about bats.

You have exactly the same options as everyone else.
So maybe a forum search will get you somewhere. After all, this is a common issue.

You can disable the spawning of any mob using the Openblocks config.
