Problem Having issues with downloading new packs or updates for already downloaded packs

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Having issues with downloading new packs or updates for already downloaded pocks.

The launcher will get stuck on this page with 'creating environment' at the bottom forever. It doesn not progress any further.

I have attempted to download updates for both Enigmatica 6 and Valhesia 3 with the same issue occurring, as well as attempted to download new packs, Sevtech, Sky factory and Pixelmon with the same problem occurring. Multiple times attempted with no difference.

Anyone who could point me at anything that may aid would be appreciated.

Same thing is happening to me.

Yesterday I tried to update Enigmatica 6 from version 0.5.6 to 0.5.7 and the update wouldn't run.
Today I tried to update the pack to 0.5.8 and it wasn't working either.
So I uninstalled the pack to reinstall it, but now when I try to install it again, it won't work, no matter if I pick 0.5.6 which I already had before, or one of the newer versions.

There's currently a bug with FTB making packs from Cursefoge not work.

Most of the team that can fix that is on vacation, but they are notified.

FTB packs work, so for packs from Curseforge - please use the Curseforge launcher for now.
