Having Fun W/ Quarries (Noob With FTB)

So playing on my survival world, got some diamonds made 2 quarries, and had some fun learning how to set these up.

The portal gun portals are awesome, how i have them setup, i can go from my base to my mining operation very easily with no lag, and when my gold chests over flow i plop down a blue portal, break the chest, items go through into and obsidian pipe and then go into 2 overflow gold chests so i can basically have unlimited quarry time. My next project is to mass manufacture industrial diamonds with a full automated setup. Hope you guys like this, was fun building legit, more to come =)

Materials used:
2 Quarries
2 Bat Box
2 ADV Solar Panels (Probably could use different type of energy but i have 20 for my base only took 4)
Some redstone
6 Electric Engines (overkill can do with 1 but this is the quickest that i had)
Some levers
Portal Gun
And of course piping for chests and what not.

Two minimum sized quarries is a waste of BC power compared to using landmarks to enlarge the area of one quarry. Two quarries are faster though. I recommend investing in a pair of enderchests to automate your overflow precaution, and you're going to have to either use a Diamond Pipe and Void pipe to get rid of the excess Cobblestone, Dirt, and Gravel, or you're going to need more chests as you continue quarrying. A lot more, depending on what you do.

Two things that you may want to know:
1)Pipes that abrubtly end will spit out items
2)By connecting gates next a say a chest or other inventory it can check whether it is full, which an be used with the placeable portal to automatically teleport your items by emitting a redstone signal when needed.

The most fun with these tech mods is finding new ways to automate such things in new ways

This was before I knew about the waypoints, my new quarries are filtering coal into my diamond making machine will post pics later when i get back on Minecraft but I'm going to make it more compact and post pics of that setup. But thanks again.

None of the pipes abruptly ended, the obsidian pipe setup is gone now i have it way better setup. I don't have enough ender pearls to make ender chests, but that's a good idea thanks for it will use when i have enough set up for it.

I feel like I am the only person who NEVER uses the ic2 diamond making machine. I have just never had a serious need for diamonds, once you get to a certain point diamonds are nigh worthless, there are only SO many uses, and unless you build some big project, I don't think I'm going to use up my 3 stacks. >.<

Then again, multiplayer is slightly unbalanced. *We have a forgecraft like set up, but someone on the server figured out that you can fit in one denseore symbol if you put in 4 charged signs for a quarry.*

Well at the moment i have like 3 diamonds left and very low on iron in my cave system since I've been using it as i get it and i've only found like 2 diamonds and made the other. So yeah at this moment i need it and it'll but cool looking when my whole is is automated.
