So a while ago (a long while, in relative terms) I made myself a Tinkers Construct scythe. I used it a lot, for clearing a bunch of leaves or something. It broke at some point. I even had moss on it, but I kind of intentionally broke it, I figured it would just stop working until the durability auto-repaired itself back up. It didn't. I put it aside for a few days, and was working on other stuff.
Now I want to repair it, using whatever material I made it from originally... and therein lies the problem. I can't remember what I made it out of, and when I put it in the tool station, it doesn't tell me. Visually, it *looks* like bronze, but I tried slapping some bronze ingots in there and no joy. I've tried putting in ingots of various other TC ores, but... nothing doing. I'm not even sure if that's the way to repair a TC tool, I read that somewhere.
I don't want to make/break another tool just to check out the repair process so I can figure out if I'm doing it right... anyone know offhand if that's how it's done, and any ideas on how to figure out what material I made my scythe out of?
I told you it was a silly problem.
