It's backing up with items to recycle and I want to know if I can add upgrade modules.

If you are using a later version of greg-tech rather than adding the upgrade items into slots, you can right click them onto the machine to apply them.

it will say in the tool tip of it, Upgrades available O T C or something like that indicating which upgrades can be added.

A lot less efficiently. Pretty sure overclockers for GT halve the time for an operation, but double the EU cost.
Actually, it's something more like quadruple the energy cost. Still, it allows you to make otherwise unbearably slow machines a lot faster. I'd be willing to put up with a massively higher energy cost for that.

I have 3 recyclers hooked up to a Scrapboxinator and they're being powered by 3 Thermal Generators. I built 2 MASSIVE 9x9 Tanks to hold all the lava from my Magma Crucibles (wasted a TON of resources building them, they are off BTW)...and the lava won't stop from the 4 pumps I have draining the lava from my Quarry. I'll have to build another Tank...but I ran out of Iron building the second one. Both tanks are almost completely full.

Something to note, if pumps don't have anywhere to pump, they'll simply stop, so you don't need to store all your lava until the pumps drain the lava lake, you can simply let them fill up the tank, and then top it up as you use the lava. The second tank is unnecessary
