I've once put in /dev/null's in /dev/null's in /dev/null's, and so on. And i went to a point where my GUI is messed up. I've decided to go deeper and i literally cannot see a single GUI anymore until i drop the item or it's not in my inventory. Seriously, kids. Don't do this at home.

It's an item you can put items in, and it'll automatically store any items you pick up that are already in it. It'll destroy anything that's over the stack.

(Say the /dev/null has 50 cobblestone in it and you pick up 20 cobblestone, the /dev/null will have 64 cobblestone, and the extra 6 are voided)

Personally i feel that's just you going too far, not OpenBlocks :p

I've got to say /dev/nulls are pretty handy little gizmos once you get used to having them. That said putting /dev/nulls in a /dev/null one level deep is going too far and useless as far as I can tell. Multiple levels deep is just trying to break something which is fun for sure but not OpenBlock's fault once you succeed.

I never used one myself, imagine throwing away cobblestone... NEVER!! I might once need that cobblestone
Unless you've gotten yourself an automated cobble generator giving you a supply of cobble you might have to dump it out into some kind of machine.

but... if you get enough cobble you can craft an octuple compressed ingot which can be smelted into a block of bedrockium... I can't just throw away cobble like that

My main use for it is to prevent me having to go back to base early game (before i've set up a send home system for items) to dump 10ish stacks of cobble after strip mining for ores.

I'm the same, I hate throwing stuff away, I keep it all (not a hoarder IRL, but in minecraft? hell yeah!), and I don't want to make automatic cobble generator, it kinda feel a bit like cheating in my opinion, getting something from nothing. Plus you get plenty of cobblestone from quarry, I set up my storage room so it automatic sends my excess cobble to workbenches and turn them into more compressed versions of cobble (9 cobble to compressed cobble = x9 to double compressed cobble).

The amount of cobblestone that you get from mining is pretty much negligible compared to what you need for octuple compressed cobblestone. An upgraded transfer node will give you orders of magnitudes more than you can possibly get from manual mining.

Most of the time i wouldn't need much cobble, as for what i need isn't much for how many cobble neccessary i get. Imagine if you had lots of cobble and died in lava, that's literally no fun for such a cobble collector..
