Has anyone managed to make NEI for 1.7.2 work with the FTB 1.7.2 pack?

Just what the title says. Here are the steps I followed:

1. On adding the NEI mod in, I got a "Couldn't download worldcore-universal.jar" error on startup.
   
2. So, I pulled in the latest BoP jar which supposedly integrates this lib into the mod itself.
   
3. Then minecraft loaded fine.
   
4. Selected my world to play... crash!

Oh, BTW, TMI works. Craftguide does too. But everytime I try and open the book, the game freezes.

Let me know if one of you had more luck than I.

You put in the code chicken core right? Because it works fine for me in vanilla 1.7.

I was wondering myself why there was no NEI yet in the unstable pack. I guess I am spoiled and don't feel like googling everything. Playing without NEI is a PITA.

Worked out of the box? As in, you added it into the ftb pack and it chugged along? Didn't have to update BoP, nothing?

After updating BoP it worked for me.
