Hardcore Ender Expansion and Thaumic Tinkerer KAMI conflict

My friend and I recently installed the Hardcore Ender Expansion mod in the Direwolf20 v1.0.23 mudpack and we found a bug. I have searched everywhere and no one has said anything about this but. The Thaumic Tinkerer KAMI mod adds two new shards, Nether Shards and Ender Shards. They only drop from the one mob that is killed in the Nether or the End. The bug is that since we installed the Hardcore Ender Mod, there have been zero drops of Ender Shards in the End.
I know the problem is that the HEE mod changes the End to different biomes, but I was wondering how I could get the Ender Shards to drop again WITHOUT Creativing them in. I know that the HEE mod isn't supported here but the question is "Has anyone been able to get these shards with both of these mods installed?"

They are rare drops. grab a looting weapon and spend some time grinding. HEE has been in the Resonant Rise packs for months along with KAMI and I never saw the interaction you claim. The RNG just isn't in your favor.

Iirc hee replaces the mc endermen with its own. If this is true, 2 options.

1. Use mob properties.

2. Sol.
