- Minecraft Version: 1.4.2
- Operating System: Linux (amd64) version 3.2.13-grsec-xxxx-grs-ipv6-64
- Java Version: 1.7.0_09, Oracle Corporation
I tried installing dynamap by dropping the dynamap folder inside the zip into the directory where our minecraft_server.jar is and then place the mod zip inside of the mods folder.

What version of dynmap are you running? I have thus far only gotten dynmap 1.0 for forge to work without headaches on the current FTB server. Ive been using it since FTB was released without issue. I believe, and I could be wrong that FTB is running an older version of Forge and some of the mods like Dynmap's current releases are for newer versions of Forge. Otherwise you installed it correctly

I was using this. Minecraft v1.4.2 with Forge v6.0.1: DynmapForge v1.2
However I just read somewhere saying that you will have issues with Hosted servers.

Well, you could try out dynmap 1.0. I failed to get the latest dynmap to work with my server so I rolled back to 1.0. That being said it opens a web-server on port 8123 and if you are paying for hosting you may not have permissions to use that port.

It cant find a file. THe render is failing. Did you get a Folder with the dynmap pack as well ? There sould be a folder with all the textures that it will display on the "website" if that folder is missing or in the wrong place, then i cannot find the tiles and it will fail.

Edit:

It seems it is TE that is messing up and not Dynmap.

Yeah I got a folder with all that jazz in it. Took quite some time to delete through FTP.
