Major crisis! (tm)
OK so I made the mistake of looking at some reinforced obsidian with the thaumometer selected. It's a known bug that causes the client to crash apparently.
I thought I could sort it using NBTexplorer on my player.dat file to change stuff when I reload the client but it's not working.
I've tried removing the thaumometer, moving it to another slot, moving my selected item to another slot, turning myself round etc etc and it just reverts when I load the world.
Where else is this data stored?
