+1. I love my GT, but unless your pack has been minetweaked to hell and back, this always applies.

So the induction smelter is going to better then! See I am learning already.

The tricky part with the GT ones is automation. You only have one single face to do input and output. The multiblock structure does not accept items, only the main Blast furnace block. This is why I chose to use Routers as they can work through chains of inventories(the routers them selves, barrels or whatever). The 2 out most routers are touching this sides Furnace blocks, and on the opposite side 2 barrels are doing the same thing.

I love routers and am missing them already in 1.7.10. I've heard someone asked NeptunePink if they could recycle the router into a stand alone mod; sure hope that happens and soon. I like using the "furnace wire" trick to get multiple machines linked together for routers. I used to automate the heck out of my apiaries in 1.6.4 using copious furnace wires and routers.

This is insane! So much faster.... I kinda feel cheaty skipping GT though. But also some sick satisfaction at skirting it...

...and that's my main gripe with Resurrection. Yes, it has GT, but in name only. Resurrection is asking GT to do something it's not design to do : balance with other mods.

GT is like Soviet Russia - you don't balance GT, it balances you !

In all fairness I think it is an immense and literally neverending job of trying to "balance" a GT modpack. One person's idea of "balance" won't be the same as someone else's. I've tried them all and I've always gone back to BeyondReality because I think they've nailed the "balance" issue better than anyone else. I think they've simply put more time and effort into it than anyone else, it's not like they just snapped their fingers and voila!

Hopefully the tppi 1.7 pack comes out soon. They did a nice job of balancing it in the first version imo. It had to be done ofc by making gt easier and lots other mods harder, but I kinda liked it. Overall I find tppi to be wonderfully well balanced for such a large pack.
