Gregtech Problem

No, this isn't someone complaining about how they want the old recipes, or saying Greg tech is too hard. This is actually a problem.

I am trying to make and industrial grinder. I have the best machine casing, in a 3x3x3 cube with a hole in the center. The grinder piece is placed in the center on on of the sides. However when I open the GUI, it says incomplete machine casing. Halp?

Different machines seem to use different arrangements of machine casings. The industrial grinder requires standard casings and reinforced casings. Standard casings go on the top and bottom layer, while reinforced casings make up the middle layer. Pretty sure all the multi-block machines aside from the industrial furnace have specific casing requirements and layouts.

The grinder also needs water in the middle I thought, or does that just give it a free charge?

What rai said, the blue block in the middle of the plan is a water source block, so dump in a bucket of water. Also, as 57782 said, you need layer 1 to be machine casings, layer 2 reinforced casings, and layer 3 more machine casings

Yeah I forgot about the water. I always forget something, which is part of the reason why I should never be a surgeon.
