gregtech issue

Hi

I have some issue with the Industrial Centrifuge. The Bauxite Dust and Lazurite Dust doesn't work in the Industrial Centrifuge.

This only happen on the server side, in solo game it's ok

I use vanilla FTB server and I change nothing.

I have also try to copy the config files and all the mods from the client, but the problem still there :s

Somebody have the same issue ?

I'm having the same issue with my Lazurite dust, haven't tried Bauxite yet. I'm trying to find info on it but having no luck.

When I put the lazurite into the centrifuge it deducts the empty cells it will need and the dust disappears, the arrows turn white instantly instead of slowly like they do when processing other things. Lost two piles of dust to this now, the guy that mined the lapis hates me ^^

I have the deductions and instant-white arrows thing and sometimes when I walk by the thing looks like it isn't processing at all, externally or the outside visual thing, but it does process eventually even though the visual cues are bugged out (50 minutes for the lazurite, 40 minutes for the Bauxite).

The question I have to see if this is really just "eating" your stuff: can you immediately put something in afterwards and it'll process? If you can't, it's working on it, if you can... probably something that'll need to be reported to the mod author.

You were right, it was just visually broken to hell. I had spinning animation then I didn't, I had complete arrows etc. The first batch was lost since it never materialised but I had so many people poking at it it was probably something one of them did. The most recent batch just completed after I banned everyone from going near it, so yay, thanks, the visual signs were very misleading so nice to know not to rely on those

Yeah, I think it's a problem with the calculations involved in animating those arrows for such a very-long-time process; something's probably hiccuping somewhere and what the server presents to the client to show to you is coming through as gibberish of some sort (which is why it's perfectly sane in SSP and "what just happened to my stuff oh no!?!?!" in SMP). I had the same worries myself but I left it alone and it eventually came through for me (thankfully nobody else on server even wants to touch GregTech stuff at the moment).

Next time we all update GregTech, we may see it happier. We also get the faster cousin to the Centrifuge to play with, huzzah. =)

Ye The visual effect is broken did I read it on the Ic2 page. Now he says there that he added an industrial electrolizer that does the Job of the centrifuge 10X faster for some recipes, but I'm can't find it on the list of craft able items. Is the ftb crew gonna update or we have to manually do it?

The pack will update all at once. They're still having their team of folks get their bearings and get going with this, so it's taking a bit of time. =)

Ah perfect, it will save me the hassle to make ppl manually update their clients and all, ill get my whip and hold the crowd calm till then hehe
