Anything not related to the question at hand may get deleted to stop flame wars.

Just some pre warning for someone.

For the expensive iridium plate there are 2 more additional steps before you can get iridium plate,

the first step is to make some kind of iridium mixed metal ingot in rolling machine, this part is pretty easy..

the second part requires you ITNT, you need 16 ITNT to convert one iridium MMI to iridium plate (implosion compressor), but this is easy to overcome if you know how to create gunpowder, flint and sand farm.. gunpowder is from charcoal+saltpeter+sulfur, you will get abundance of sulfur from a lot of his ores (esp. pyrite) and other things, charcoal from forestry oak tree farm and saltpeter from niter (4 sand->1 sandstone--(pulverizer)-->2 sand+niter) and you can get sand from macerating cobblestone (from igneous extractor).. and lastly for the flint you can get gravel by putting cobblestone into grinder (factorization) and then macerate gravel to flint..

For gunpowder you can also learn to make it via thaumcraft research, so you really shouldn't have too many problems with ITNT either.

I'll just state you can compress sand back into sandstone, and make the niter loop even more efficient.

I'll just state this back to you, the exploit has been *fixed* by GregTech, if you install GregTech, compressor needs 4 sand to get 1 sandstone (which is the same with vanilla sand->sandstone); so you need 2 additional sand for each pulverizer cycle..
