*Sorry is this is a noob/already been answered question, im just learning and only know the basics*

What is the point of the greatwood trees, they cant be crafted into wood, have no usage when 'U' pressed with NEI.
IS it just for aesthetics or is there plans for it in its respective mod?

P.S. What mod is it from??
 
greatwood logs are from Thaumcraft 3, they can be crafted into arcane wood blocks with 4 of them in a square (in the arcane workbench, which requires you to have a wand to use). arcane wood blocks are used for a number of things, including wooden golems and warded jars.
