GraviChestPlate Can't Fly

My gravichest was working normally until yesterday when i am unable to fly. When i jump an then turn the gravitation engine on I fly for a splitsecond and then plummet down with the engine still on. The other way of flying dosen't work at all I turn the engine on and double jump but it dosen't start flying.

Had to go back to my AdvancedNanoChestplate.

Can anyone else use the chestplate? Otherwise, try leaving it in where you charge it for a while, then reload the chunk.

This is in singleplayer so no one else uses the chestplate. How would you go up about reloading the chunk (forgot DERP!!)? I think you press F5

Well, you could go really far away, or take a trip to the nether for a few minutes.
